#AugustWritingChallenge - Rhythm - Day 9

We are a part of the rhythm nation! That was really random; it was just the first thing that popped into my mind when I read today's theme.

I'd like to first acknowledge that fact that today would have been the 49th birthday of the icon, Whitney Houston. I can not wait to go see the remake of Sparkle.

When I see the word rhythm, I think music. Music plays such a huge role in my life. My whole time at Howard I couldn't make it across campus to class without my iPod. I have a collection of about two thousand songs; although, I don't think that's very vast. I pride my self more on its variety rather than quantity.

I just thought I'd share a list of my current favorites:
