So they say Ms. Irene is going to hit us in the morning so I've gone out and done everything I need to do today. I am not sure how bad the storm will be but I decided to be prepared anyway.
At this point Irene has gone through North Carolina and Virginia, which means D.C. is next. I'm just praying that we don't lose power and that the flooding doesn't damage my baby Vanessa (my car).
I found a new TV series on Netflix that I like. I'm just going to wait it and hope we don't lose power. I hate that Irene had to ruin our weekend instead of coming in the middle of the week. Oh well...
On a brighter note, I have another byline coming soon that I will post as soon as I have access to the link. I am working on several story ideas for my NewsLab class; it should be very exciting! I will do my best to keep posting regularly even though the school year always get kind of insane.
I think Irene is just here to say, "Summertime is over! Get back to reality."
