So, I know everyone knows by now, I am the biggest fan of Apple Computers alive. I type right this second on a MacBook Pro. When I heard about their newest product I almost fainted.
This fall, Apple plans to release a new product called iCloud. It is a program that will push all your data, music, files, pictures, videos, etc. to all of your devices, iPods, iPads, MacBooks, etc. For those of you who only have one Apple product, this one isn't for you; however, if you are like me and can't ever keep straight what data went where, this is the program for which you've been waiting.
There will be no more of me having to make sure I sync both my iPods to get the newest music on it; nope, just purchase and I know it will be on them both. No more will iPad owners have to manually move files from iPad to desktop. It is the ultimate convenience.
iCloud comes free when you upgrade to iOS 5, which will be released later this year. I think it's only free for the first 5 GB but Apple hasn't really explained that part fully, or at least, not that I found.
Apple also plans to release a new computer operating system, Lion, they're going to run out of big cats to name these things after soon. They're going to have to start using names like "Siamese" and "tabby." LOL!
I'm most excited about the multi-touch gestures; some of the old ones have been improved and some new have been created. Lion also uses a program that combines dashboard, exposé, and spaces all into one. Its called mission control.
Lion also introduces the launchpad, which those who have iPod Touches or iPads are already familiar with to the MacBooks and iMacs.
The new operating system comes with over 250 new features, all of them sound really exciting!
