My Journeys: New Year's Day in Wisconsin

My family owns a timeshare; so, we decided to go to Christmas Mountain Ski Resort for New Year's Eve and Day. It's in Wisconsin Dells about three hours from my parents home in Chicago. Other than the fact the it was so high in the mountains that I couldn't get any cell phone service or Internet, it was a great vacation.

We stayed in a quaint little one-bedroom townhouse. It had a kitchen so Madre and Tia (Mommy and Auntie) cooked yummy food the whole time. The first day the little people went tubing. You get in one of those tubes like you have on a water slide but you slide down the hill in the snow. I was to tired from driving to tube with them but maybe next year. After tubing, we played board games and ate dinner, spaghetti. Mommy did something new to the sauce but she wouldn't tell me what. It was delicious though.

The boys Arthur and David Jr. in the tubes.

The next day, after a very yummy and filling breakfast, we went to an indoor water park, yes, indoor water park near to our resort. The kids and I spent the day sliding down crazy water slides, floating on the lazy river, and driving the grown ups insane! I couldn't believe how much fun we had.

I'm so excited about next year's vacation! We're going to Arizona and I've never been there so it should be fun.
